Der Westcoast-Rapper Omar Cruz hat einen steilen Aufstieg hinter sich: Aus L.A. stammend, mit kolumbianischen und mexikanischen Wurzeln, zog er bereits mit seinen ersten beiden Mixtapes City Of Gods und Blow die Aufmerksamkeit von Majors wie Interscope und Geffen auf sich. Von diesen beiden liess er sich mitsamt seinem eigenen Label BYI Entertainment mittels eines Jointventures signen. Als erster Release kommt jetzt 2007 B.C. als Download, The Cruzifixion soll bald folgen und im Sommer steht dann sein Debüt-Album „Sign Of The Cruz“ an. Watch out!
2007 B.C. ist gehostet von den beiden all-around-Mixtape-DJs Skee und Big Mike, mit sehr prominenten Gastauftritten von Jay-Z, The Game, Big Pun, Tupac, Ya Boy uvm.!
