Verdammich, wieso hab ich mir den Imperator noch nie angehört?! Dope as hell. Der Track bzw. das Video hier ist die Single zu seinem im Herbst erscheinenden Album „The Last Emperor & The Wizards Wardrobe“.
The Last Emperor aus Philadelphia hat seinen Namen interessanterweise einem chinesischen Historienfilm entlehnt und auch sonst schon eine längere Business-Oddysee hinter sich als ganz Slaughterhouse zusammen: Er war mal bei Dr. Dre’s Aftermath gesignt und da nichts weniger als dessen direktes Protégé. Später hat er noch eine ganze Platte beim untergehenden Rawkus-Label gemacht, die dann nie releaset wurde usw. usf. Jedenfalls scheint er jetzt mit eigenem Label back zu sein. Lyricism 101.
